Brittney Woods of Little Miss Famous Photography!! 

Every time I have a session with her it's an awe-inspiring experience! And the results are nothing short of phenomenal!! This time was no exception! We had a blast! She is one of those people that exudes creativity! Being around her makes me want to get my butt in gear! 

I have known Brittney since I was a teenager, back when I was a complete mess! And she still loved me anyway, so I think I'll keep her around! LOL

Fearless Wednesday!!

What could I accomplish if I was truly fearless?

I would never care or worry about what others thought of me.  I would always put myself out there. 

I would write constantly, I would sing at the top of my lungs, I would dance every where I went.  

I would not spend hours on a financial budget, and worrying where the next dollar is going to come from.  

No more worrying about my job, or worrying if I'm doing the best I can with the people I work with.  No more worrying if I'm good enough.

I would be free to be what I was made to be.  I would be free to fly.  

God created us to be fearless... If we fully rely on the creator of the universe what could we possible have to be afraid of?

According to the movie facing the giants the bible talks about being fearless (or to fear not) over 365 times.  One for every day of the year :) Here are some of my favorites: 

Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 118:6

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Isaiah 41:13

For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. one thing everyday that scares you. 

The bible goes through verse after verse commanding the people to Fear NOT! To Live fearlessly for God is with us. 

So come on life, Bring it on.

If it makes you nervous, take same advice from Nike and just do it. Get out of your comfort zone! Challenge yourself.  Your not going to grow by staying where you are.  

So let me ask again the question from above...

What could you accomplish if you were truly without fear, totally and completely fearless?

I am a beautiful perfectly created masterpiece. I am of great value.  My creator loves me so much he provides my every need.  Through him I am able to live with out fear and with out worries.  I am fierce and fearless.  I am able to do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

Fantastically Imperfect.

Perfect Imperfection 

No ones perfect.  We are only human. These words people throw out there constantly.  Especially when a mistake has been made.  

We all know that this is true.  We have all said it a million times.  This isn't new information. So tell me, why in the world are we constantly seeking some distant dream of perfection? 

    In my life, even as a young child, I have been a people pleasing, perfection seeking, wanna be.  I did many things to strive for "perfection".  Such as: 

• I was constantly striving to be the best I could be, not ever thinking I was ok the way I was.   
• I was always striving to make my parents proud.  
• I strived to make good grades.  
• I would never spend money because my parents would be "proud".
• I would tell people what they wanted to hear.
• I would try to hid it when I made mistakes.
• I would act fake, or act the way I thought people would like.  
• I would worry about what other people thought of me. 
• I would feel extreme guilt if I made a mistake.
• I would feel "stupid" if I did something wrong. 
• I felt I had to control everything, or it wouldn't be ok. 
• I would worry if I was doing things ok, or if I was ok..

Wow, Sounds exhausting doesn't it?

Even though I knew that I was only human, and that I wasn't "perfect", I still strived for it, exhausting myself, worrying constantly, making myself sick!!

Guess what I've been learning, slowly but surely...

Imperfect is ok. 

Imperfection is fantastic!

Imperfection is beautiful!!

I was not created to be perfect.  

I'm going to make mistakes.  Every..single..day..

  

I'm not going to be on top of things all the time.  Sometimes I'm going to be scattered.  Sometimes I'm going to lock my keys in the car.  Sometimes I'm not going to handle a situation the best way. Sometimes I'm going to forget something I was suppose to do.  Sometimes I'm going to accidentally hurt someones feelings.  Sometimes I'm going to say things I don't mean.  Sometimes I'm going to be cranky.  And you know what?  IT'S OK! 

IT'S OK because I wasn't created to be perfect.  If I was perfect I wouldn't need a savior to die for me.  If I was perfect I wouldn't need to pray everyday for direction.  But praise GOD I'm not perfect.  Everyday I need a relationship with my creator, everyday I need divine guidance from him!

This realization totally and completely set me FREE!! I am free to allow things to be out of my control. I am free from the fear of making a mistake.  I am free to mess up.  I am free from worrying what others think of me.  I am free to be ME. I am free to LIVE FEARLESSLY!

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

HIS POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS!!!!

I love that!! I want to be the type of person that fully trust God every single day in every single way.  I do not want to be a control freak any longer!! I've seen what happens when I try to control everything...and it's not good!! I want to always be ok with the fact that I'm a wonderful, fantastically imperfect, masterpiece made by God himself! And I'm glad I need him everyday of my life because he IS PERFECT! And It's great to know I have perfection looking out for me!

Everyday feel the same...?

Tired of going through the motions...

Have you lost that luster for life...

Tired of always being in reaction mode if one little thing gets off your "plan" for the day..

The question I want you to ask yourself is...

What are you radiating?  

Your thoughts, your mental attitude is constantly radiating into the world.  Is it positive or negative?

AS YOU THINK, SO SHALL YOU BE!

We are what we constantly think about. Our thoughts then become our words, and then our actions, and finally our very being.  Yes our thoughts truly create who we are. 

Proverbs 23:7 

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.  

Are you in a negative thinking cycle, producing negative words and negative actions?  It can be a tricky cycle to be trapped it.  

How do you BREAK FREE?

1. MAKE A CONSCIOUS DECISION! Make the decision NOW! Take the anti-complain challenge.  Start one day at a time, challenge yourself and others to go without gripping, complaining, gossiping, and being negative.  Journal about your experiences.  Was it harder than you thought or did it come naturally? Challenge others to do the same.  What would the world be like if everyone took this challenge.
2. Live in the moment.  Stop regretting the past or worrying about the future.  Now is the only time you will ever have.  Make the best of this moment today!! Choose to love and be grateful for this moment. 
3. Completely surrender Negativity (and all areas) to God.  

           Break free from NEGATIVITY, surrender it to GOD ALMIGHTY!!

Philippians 4:8 
 ⁸ Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Focus you mind on all things GOOD! Radiate love and Passion for life!

Follow your divine purpose, that which makes you feel ALIVE!! Seek and you will find! When you discover it, hold onto it with everything you have!!

Welcome to my Reality.

Welcome, welcome, welcome.  

     Thank you for joining me. So let me tell you a little about myself.  My name is Katina.  I'm the front woman of a Christian Rock band called RoseFire. www.rosefireband.com.  I am outrageously passionate about God and music.  I am obsessed with learning and constantly growing.  I will never "arrive".  I will always be seeking more.   

My goal is to constantly and consistently be in creation mode.  Producing content in an effort to inspire, encourage, and help provoke others to see outside their normal thinking realm. 

This is me: 

I am a 25 year old little lady. I bit of a goof ball, and a lover of life... 

Things I love: 

  #1. First and foremost, I am crazy in love with my savior Jesus Christ.  Without Jesus I was lost, fearful and miserable; but with him I was transformed into a new creation.  I am free to be me, free from my past, free from all my fears, free to be abundantly rich with joy, free to truly love others to the extreme, free to be FREE!! 

 #2: I love people! All sorts of people. I love to encourage, to inspire, to lift up people.  My heart is to serve and love people everyday I live on this earth.  

In this section I would like to acknowledge that I have the most wonderful friends and family on the planet.  I have a super amazing rocker husband named Jason.  We share this passion for music. (..Coming in #3)  He is the guitar player in our band RoseFire.  He has been such an amazing blessing in my life and has made my life abundantly full and rich.  <3

  

  #3: My calling, my purpose, my dream, that which is within me to be, my MUSIC!!! Oh how I love love love writing, creating, singing, and preforming music!! RoseFire, our band, is my baby.  I just can't get enough of everything that has to do with music.  I have had this passion since birth! Since I was first able to speak I was singing.  I wrote my first song at 7 years old.  It is my burning desire and I can't wait to be able to dedicate more time to music, to RoseFire, to my purpose.

Adventure, anything exciting, anything that creates adrenaline, (I might be a bit of an adrenaline junky) Things such as: 

• Roller coasters
• Cave exploring
• Traveling 
• Rock climbing
• Lazer tag
• Paint ball 
• Public Speaking/Presenting/Teaching
• Preforming 
• Dance 
• hot air balloon riding (never done but want too) 
• Bungee Jumbing (never done ...yet!) 
• Sky Diving (haven't done..Unfortunately)

• Fried Rice (really all Japanese Food YUM!)

• Health food (mostly cuz I love the way I feel when I eat healthy)

• And my ultimate weakness...KFC crispy fried chicken!

I love the sun, I love the beach, I love the water, ..all the beautiful things found in nature! It's awe inspiring just to really look at the beauty God has created!

I also love my animals! I would like to introduce you to my little buddy Casper..
