Fearless Wednesday!!

What could I accomplish if I was truly fearless?

I would never care or worry about what others thought of me.  I would always put myself out there. 

I would write constantly, I would sing at the top of my lungs, I would dance every where I went.  

I would not spend hours on a financial budget, and worrying where the next dollar is going to come from.  

No more worrying about my job, or worrying if I'm doing the best I can with the people I work with.  No more worrying if I'm good enough.

I would be free to be what I was made to be.  I would be free to fly.  

God created us to be fearless... If we fully rely on the creator of the universe what could we possible have to be afraid of?

According to the movie facing the giants the bible talks about being fearless (or to fear not) over 365 times.  One for every day of the year :) Here are some of my favorites: 

Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 118:6

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Isaiah 41:13

For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. one thing everyday that scares you. 

The bible goes through verse after verse commanding the people to Fear NOT! To Live fearlessly for God is with us. 

So come on life, Bring it on.

If it makes you nervous, take same advice from Nike and just do it. Get out of your comfort zone! Challenge yourself.  Your not going to grow by staying where you are.  

So let me ask again the question from above...

What could you accomplish if you were truly without fear, totally and completely fearless?
